"Osun's Cry"

 

In Osun State, Nigeria, a tale unfolds,

Of power struggles, and a crisis to behold.

The APC and PDP parties, in a bitter fight,

Each seeking chairmanship, with all their might.

The streets are tense, with protests and strife,

As politicians clash, and the people suffer life.

The quest for power, has brought only pain,

And the future of Osun, hangs in the balance, in vain.

The voices of the people, are drowned out by the fray,

As the politicians' greed, consumes the day.

The state is divided, and the people are worn,

By the endless struggles, and the crisis that's born.

But still, we hold on, to the hope in our hearts,

That one day, Osun State, will know peace, and never depart.

That the politicians, will put the people first,

And the crisis will cease, and the state will be nursed.

Until that day, we'll continue to pray,

For the peace and prosperity, of Osun State, come what may.

And we'll hold our leaders, accountable for their deeds,

And demand that they work, for the people's needs.
