Iresi, Osun State - From August 12-15, 2024, the All Christian Bible Church in Iresi hosted the highly anticipated Christian Convention 2024, drawing thousands of delegates from across Nigeria and beyond.

The four-day event, themed "Unity in Diversity," brought together Christians from various denominations and backgrounds to worship, learn, and fellowship. Renowned speakers, including Pastor Ayodele from Lagos and Pastor Z.O Salako, delivered powerful sermons and impactful workshops on topics such as discipleship, leadership, agriculture, and evangelism.

Highlights of the convention included spirit-filled praise and worship sessions, community outreach programs, and a grand finale service where attendees celebrated their unity in Christ and committed to spreading the Gospel message.

According to the host, Pastor Evangelist B.B Maranatan, "Christian Convention 2024 was a resounding success, exceeding our expectations.    We were grateful for the outpouring of support and the palpable sense of unity among believers."

Plans are already underway for next year's convention, promising to be an even greater gathering of Christians from far and wide.

  Joseph Akande   Deceased and audience   Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has directed security agencies to intensify operations and apprehend those responsible for Sunday’s deadly attack on Ratatis community in Dorowa Babuje, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, which claimed the lives of at least 10 innocent people. The governor gave the directive on Tuesday in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Joyce Ramnap. This order came as nine victims of a terror attack in the Dorowa Babuje community were laid to rest in a mass burial in the community on Tuesday.
